Cancellation Policy
If YOU need to cancel your booking ..
You can cancel your booking at any time, however, please be aware that your 25% booking fee is non-refundable. It is however transferrable to another booking date within 3 months of your original booking date, but your deposit can only be carried forward once to a new booking date. If you have no other up-coming event to re-schedule to, your deposit could be transferred to a booking that a friend or family member may like to make. If you want to re-schedule for a time longer than 3 months, we can do that for you but a new deposit payment will be required.
Can I change the date of my booking?
Yes you can change the date of your booking and your booking fee will be placed on the new booking date within a 3 month period from the date of your original booking. Please let us know your alternative date as soon as possible so that you stand a better chance of getting your preferred new date and we potentially have time to fill the old cancelled date.
What if the weather is really bad and we have no indoor space to move to?
The reality of British weather means that we can never be sure of getting ideal weather, even at the height of summer. Unfortunately, you the customer bare the risk to your event from bad weather conditions. We always advise a back up plan to be able to move indoors if the weather is poor but we realise that this isn't always possible. Under these circumstances we retain your 25% booking fee but please read the above paragraph titled.. 'If we need to cancel your booking'
We can still set up our inflatable if the rain is light or intermittent. It just may mean that you have to turn the inflatable off occasionally and wipe the bounce/slide/play area down with a towel before play commences.
Weather conditions that mean we cannot set up outside..
'Persistent' and or heavy rain (Hazardous when bounce bed becomes wet and slippy)
Wind speeds and/or gusts of up to 24mph or above
(check the met office website for your area on the day of hire)
If we have to cancel due to a bad weather forecast we will let you know at the earliest possible time, usually around 8am/9am on the same day of your booking or on occasions the evening before if the weather forecast is looking ominous.
WE DO NOT CANCEL BOOKINGS LIGHTLY AND IT'S DISAPPOINTING FOR EVERYONE WHEN WE HAVE TO DO SO BUT THE REASONS FOR CANCELLING DUE TO THE WEATHER ARE BECAUSE IT'S NOT SAFE TO GO AHEAD.
As we're sure you'll be aware, Incidents have occurred within the industry with fatal outcomes due to providers negligence and not adhering to the safety rules.
Other reasons WE may need to cancel your booking.
We NEVER cancel a booking lightly. We value our good reputation for providing a good service and being reliable, but, in the event of any unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be given. This could be due to..
* Last minute staff illness.
* Breakdown of our delivery van.
* A road accident/hold up/diversions
* A damaged inflatable (a replacement will be offered first).
* Any other unforeseen event which prevents us from getting to you.
Reasons we may not be able to set up your inflatable when we arrive.
(Sending us a short video and/or images of the unloading area and the journey to the bouncy castle location will greatly reduce most of the possible scenarios shown below)
a. There isn't enough room or a clear path to get the inflatable to where it needs to be.
b. It doesn't fit the space. (see * highlighted footnote)
c. The space is a hard surface. (we only anchor inflatables on to real grassed areas)
d. The space where you want it to be set up ..
* Is too muddy (the anchor pegs will not work effectively)
* Is covered with pet poops.
* Has over-hanging trees which could pierce the inflatable and be a hazard to users.
e. There's no-one home to sign for the delivery of your inflatable. (unless pre-arranged)
*If the inflatable is too big we will endeavour to get a suitable replacement to you but there will be an extra charge for fuel and time. If it's not possible or there is no other suitable inflatable available then ..
a. We will recommend other local companies who may be able get a replacement to you for that day, however you will lose your deposit.
b. You can arrange to book the same or a different inflatable for another date. This way you don't lose your booking fee but we do ask for 100% of the travel expenses and our time getting to you.
PLEASE CHECK THAT OUR INFLATABLE WILL COMFORTABLY FIT YOUR DESIRED SPACE. THE SIZES OF OUR INFLATABLES ARE SHOWN ON OUR PRODUCT PAGES. WE ALSO ASK IN OUR CONFIRMATION THAT YOU SEND PHOTOS OR A SHORT VIDEO OF THE LOAD IN AREA AND BOUNCY CASTLE LOCATION SO THAT WE CAN AVOID OR AT LEAST GREATLY REDUCE THE RISK OF ANY OF THESE SCENARIOS OCCURRING.
